The IPL hand piece targets brown spots, reduces freckles, blemishes and broken blood vessels. It selectively targets abnormal changes that develop with age and successfully improves sun-damage, age spots, broken veins, symptoms of Rosacea and numerous other facial flaws. It builds collagen and improves skin texture and so reflects light better.

The procedure is most commonly done on the face but can be done on other areas like hands, arms and décoletté. Most times the area is treated with multiple passes, depending on the skin type. Pigment comes to the surface and sloughs off, giving the face (or could say treated area) a smooth refreshed result.
