Transition Peel

The VI Peel is a proprietary medium depth peel which penetrates more deeply than most other peels without the pain and discomfort associated with a high-grade peel. It also offers amazing results in 7-10 days.

The VI Peel will address wrinkles, acne, acne scars, melasma, hyper-pigmentation, texture, and skin hydration. It is safe peel for all skin types.

Right after receiving the VI Peel, the skin will look tan or sun-burned. The patient is sent home with a skin care kit and instructions on how to care for the skin for next 5-7 days. The skin will typically start to peel the second day after receiving the peel and could potentially peel for 7-10 days.

The peel may be repeated as often as every two weeks, if necessary, for damaged skin. Our recommendation for average skin would be once every three months to prevent damage and the underlying ageing of the skin. Our medical esthetician will evaluate the patient’s damage, goals and expectations and make an appropriate recommendation for ongoing skin care. Also, there are boosters that can be added at an additional fee to enhance the results of the VI Peel for more stubborn or severely acneic skin.
